Occupational Therapy at Ambroise Farm

Why do we usually deliver occupational therapy outdoors?
Picture
At Ambroise Farm we believe that time in nature makes all the difference.  Research continues to reveal this missing ingredient for so many children struggling today... freedom to creatively connect, learn and grow outdoors with nature. This is the therapeutic foundation for outdoor occupational therapy at Ambroise farm; nature is our co-facilitator.

We offer comprehensive assessment and occupational therapy interventions. Our highly experienced occupational therapists tailor individual treatment approaches to include the therapeutic benefits of 'nature connection' in our beautiful yurt, grounds and woodland. We promote sensory-motor development and social-emotional regulation alongside environmental stewardship.
What to Expect
'Whimsy Wood' is our spinney of native broadleaf trees, on the edge of 5 acres of certified organic land. Our nearby pond and orchard make the area wonderfully diverse and alive with insect, bird and animal life.

Sessions take place both inside and outside, depending on individual sensory needs.

Nestled within the apple orchard, our beautiful yurt provides a unique and nurturing indoor space for therapy.
